The Sarcoma Research Canada was established to motivate courage and determination in families and victims of childhood Osteosarcoma and related cancers. The foundation hopes to focus on helping victims and families set up much needed services. Every year, approximately 1200 Canadians are diagnosed with Sarcoma. Osteosarcoma, cancer of the bone, is prevalent in adolescents and young adults, but people of any age can develop the disease.
The goals of the Sarcoma Research Canada are to provide support and care for children and young adolescents who need assistance.
